COSMOCAIXA SCHOOL TRIP

The sixth of November, the students of first of ESO went to Cosmocaixa, the science museum of Barcelona. We took the bus at nine o'clock, and half an hour later, we where there, it was a short journey. So, when we arrived there, we went directly to the planetarium, and that was amazing! we had the screenthe screen on top of us, and we had to look at up, and they projected on the dome a video that soke about the planets, the planet Earth, the Solar system, the stars,the Milky way, the eclipses and the constelations. After wathing the video there was a woman that answered all the questions that we had, and in my opinion she was a great help for us.

The planetaryum was a long part of the school trip, it lasted about fifty minutes, that was long, and after it, we went to the yard. At cosmocaixa's yard we had a break and we ate there. The yard was amazing, it was huge.

Finally, we went to the flooded forest, a simulation of an Amazonic flooded forest that was full of giant fishes, piranhas, ducks... In my opinion that was amazing, and I think that is a good example of the nowdays forests. They have to adaptate to the weather.

And after seeing it, we had free time, that meant that we could visit different experiments of the museum. When we finished the visit, we took again the bus to return us to school at half past one. I think that that was a great school trip.

Sortida al Canal Olímpic

El dia 8 d’octubre de 15:30h a 17:30h, els nens i nenes de 1r i 2n d’ESO, vam fer una sortida al Canal Olímpic de Castelldefels. Vam anar amb canoa i caiac. Els nens de 1r, vam anar amb canoa primer, mentre els de 2n feien caiac, i després a l’inrevés. Teníem dos monitors per a cada activitat, per a canoa uns i per a caiac uns altres, però eren més simpàtics els del caiac. Era més fàcil el caiac, ja que pesava menys i et permetia anar una miqueta més ràpid que amb canoa. Amb caiac anava només una persona, mentre que amb la canoa hi anaven dues persones. El rem de la canoa, només té una pala a un dels extrems, i has d’anar combinant amb el teu company el cantó pel qual remes, per anar en la direcció que vols. Mentre que el rem del kayac té una pala a cada un dels extrems del rem, i t’has de anar combinant amb tu mateix pel costat que remes més, per anar en la direcció que vols, si remes cap a un cantó, aniràs en direcció contraria.

Per a fer aquestes dues activitats, els monitors ens van fer posar una armilla salvavides per a la nostre seguretat, per si de cas algú no sap nedar o algú que està molt cansat i corre el risc d’ofegar-se.
